..."on sunday a man walks by, with hope in his troubled eyes,...

..."where is the hand to which millions do come, where is the voice that unites us all as one? our heats pouring out as we cry to Hashem, the Rebbe zol zain gezunt and be with us again."

That song was on an album produced by someone I know back in Nun Dalet. Please see your visitor messages - contact me off-site or PM me (which I don't think you can do) and I will send you his information.

while we're on the topic, there's this song that goes to the tune of essen est zich, the last line goes something like "still we stand strong... until we see the sun rise". anyone know the words? i can't remember them and its really annoying me!

just in case you didn't get it otherwise i came across it by "chance", here it is:

To camp i'll be leaving soon
i look towards the rebbe's room
how empty, how lonely it seems
the councillors they hide no grief
a dollar they have not received
the rebbe's camp, oh what will be

But soon i am taken
through shiurim, through farbrengens
through his picture that i constantly hold
to a world where i feel
that his prescence is so real
before me my rebbe i behold

oy rebbe, oy rebbe, mein heilike tatte
you've always been with us in a Guf Doh Lemateh
rebbe i love you you know how much i need you
the pain is just too much to bear

as i turn towards your picture my eyes fill with tears
your comforting smile so warm and so real
i know how you love me you'll always be with me
i know that i'm never alone

hope this helps

I think that the Rebbe had a stroke on 27 Adar and stopped seeing the chassidim than.

Aderabo, the Chassidim stopped seeing the Rebbe (except when the Rebbe come out on the balcony and some occasions when people were zoche to walk past the Rebbe); the Rebbe never stopped seeing the Chassidim ch"v. Omed achar kosleiNU--the fault is in us, we don't see the Rebbe because we're not keilim to ba"h l'eis ato. If we make ourselves keilim, then the ohr will be nimshach, kyodua that keilim shafn oirois, and we'll be reunited with the Rebbe--mir velen zich zehn mitn Rebbn, do l'mato in a guf ulemato mei'asoro tefochim, v'hu yigoleinu.
