620 amudei or and 7 tikunei gulgalta

Need some help in defining these two concepts (תרך עמודי אור and ז תיקוני גולגלתא). I understand that both connect between ratzon and ta'anug in the keter, but that's as far as I've got.

R' Chaim refers to this semi-frequently. It refers to the midos of Arich Anpin as they come down into and enliven the sechel. For example the טלא דבדולחא (probably a reference to dopamine), or Crystaline Dew (sometimes simply called Lachluchis or "moisture") which sits on top of the sinuous membrane, קרומא אוירא, triggers pleasure centers in the brain when it goes through the קרומא. The more טלא דבדולחא, the more pleasure - and the more generalized the pleasure.

This is actually related the 13 Midos of Rachamim in Kesser: The first six are considered very generalized (ie, lots of lachluchis/טלא דבדולחא, and are therefore compared to Chochma/Chesed. The second set of six (after the seventh, which is associated with the Middle Kav), beginning with the 8th Mazal, v'Notzar, is assocated with Binah/Gevurah: IOW, the pleasure associated with thinking and meditating. (Meditatiing acually gets the juices flowing, and frustration causes them to stop flowing, thereby making it harder to learn).

620 (gematria Kesser) Amudim refers to the 613 Mitzvos, and the 7 Mitzvos D'Rabanan. IOW, even though the Ratzon is nimshach into the Sechel, the true Ratzon/Kesser is fulfilled through the simple observance of G-d's desire that we do what he wants.

So the 7 tikunim are like or yashar and 620 amudim are like or chozer? Or maybe that the tikunim are arousal from above - through hitbonenut and the 620 are arousal from below through the act of a practical mitzvah?

I haven't seen it described that way. But, like I said on a different thread, these terms describe relationships, rather than essential concepts. So, while care should be taken that connections are based upon something written in original sources (Kisvei Ariza''l, Pardes, etc.), there is some leeway in making connections.
