Thoughts before Gimel Tamuz

In Hayom Yom (26 Shevat) it talks about the love between the Rebbe and Chassidim, and the love of Chassidim for each other.

Love is a powerful feeling which propells us to connect very strongly to someone. And when it's an essential love, (see Pirkei Avos 5,16), then we connect to the essence of the other person.

It says that, just as water reflects a face, similarly one person reflects another person's heart.

So when we feel the essential love that the Rebbe, or a Chossid, has for us, then we love them in return.

And the same goes for every Jew. Soon the essential love that every Jew has for another will be revealed.

And this will reveal even more the essential love that G-d has for us. And we for Him.

And that's Geula. Because Geula is revealing, or redeeming the Emes Havaye, the essential G-dliness inherent in everything.

May it happen even before Gimel Tamuz.
