Kashrut and Kisui Rosh

Is it brought somewhere in halacha (if so where) that the basis for that we trust a woman on her kashrut depends on if she is covering her hair?

I seem to recall a tshuva in Igros Moshe on this issue (though the phrasing of the original question is wrong).

There is a story of the Rebbe that while in Paris he inquired about the kashrus of a certain restaurant. He asked who does the cooking, and the owner said his wife cooks. The Rebbe asked if she covers her hair, and the owner said yes. The Rebbe replied "then I can eat here". (I think this recollection is on Living Torah.)

What does the story (even if true) prove?

ARRGGG....this is stupid. It means it depends on the woman's level of tzniut, but there are women in Meah Shearim who wear tichels that are more makpid than some women who wear a sheitel. IOW- tzniut counts, which shita does not.

I am not sure if this is what you meant, but see the Iggros Moshe vol 4 (CM 1) toward the very end of Siman 41.
