Sefer HaErchim: Ohr Chozer

Much to my chagrin, when I went to look up "ohr chozer" in Sefer HaErchim, I couldn't locate the entry.

First, I checked volume 3, to discover a note saying that for "technical reasons," it was not included in the current volume but would be included in the next volume. So I looked in volume 4, and looked, and looked. To no avail.

Did I miss it? Is the entry of "Ohr Chozer" hiding somewhere in volume 4? Or did the entry actually never appear?

Finally, I am all confused about the concept. And the more I read about this rebounding, reflected light (not very much), the more confused I become. Could anyone recommend an elementary source for me to consult? (What I saw in Iggeret HaKodesh was too abstruse for me.)

Did you check Sefer Halikkutim? (I don't have time to look through it right now, but a quick glance shows that there is what to read there, and plenty of M"M. Its under "אור ישר אור חוזר").

The name of the book is Sefer HaEeruchim ספר הערכים, not Eruchin ערכין...

for a bit of info on ohr chozer, may i suggest the last maamer of hemshech rana"t - D"H L'chol Tichla, i think that many hemsheichim speak about "ohr chozer" at their second half - but that's just my opinion.

ohr chozer shouldn't be looked upon as a "reflection" - that's a very strange way of looking at it (although that's the best gashmiusdike metaphor), it's rather something that radiates (is meir) only after the "ohr yoshor" has already shined and completed it's cycle.

There is a nice simple yet lengthy explanation with mosholim offered in Likutei Diburim. Likut 7 I believe.

yeah, it's the best analogy but only when you understand what ohr yoshor is in it's entirety.

the "reflection" part is quite deep and quite complex, or quite shallow and inadequate.

there are many ways to explain it, but the "reflection" thing just isn't going to cut it for a basic but adequate biur.

but aderabah, explain

The reason I asked was because that moshol (and the moshol of the heat of the sunlight) was brought up today while learning with someone. If you want explanations (which directly relate to אור ישר/אור חוזר) they can be found in Sefer HaLikutim under "אספקלריא המאירה, אספקלריא שאינה מאירה", and are pretty clear and basic IMHO.
