Moshiach, Adam and Waiting

We find that Adam was impatient and failed to wait three hours to eat the fruit (and for union with Chava).

We find the Yidden at har Sinai were impatient with Moshe (boshesh Moshe=b'shesh) and failed the same test as Adam.

It seems that the essence of the test is to have a great desire for something good (as Adam could see to the end of the world, which is that the fruit of the Tree would be kosher, and the Jews wanted their memutza to connect to Hashem) but at the same time to wait for it (and thus having a great, burning desire for it).

We can see the connection to Moshiach and "af al pi sh'hitmame'ah" (even though he tarries...).

Thoughts or marei makomos on this inyan?

Exactly (according to one of the reasons/explanations).

Also, it could be said the same thing for Korach that he saw that that ultimately the Leviim will be the Kohanim, that ultimately every Jew will be a priest, and he was impatient to get there.

Other impatience: Bnei Ephraim trying to enter Eretz Yisroel early.

Waiting

http://dawnofredemption.blogspot.com...-moshiach.html
Quote:
The Test of Waiting Nisayon Hahamtana, Rabbi Yitzchok Ginsburgh

Before his sin Adam Harishon was the "Chaya Klolis" (collective Chaya) of the souls of Israel (from the five general levels of Nefesh, Ruach, Neshoma, Chaya, Yechida), and Moshiach will be the "Yechida Klolis" (collective Yechida) of the souls of Israel. If Adam Harishon had withstood the nisayon of the eitz hada'as, he would have merited to the level of the "Yechida" and transformed himself into Moshiach. But he didn't withstand the nisayon and he didn't wait 3 hours (until the onset of Shabbos, when the it would have become permissible to eat from the eitz hada'as).

Similarly, when Israel stood at Har Sinai the venom of the nachash hakadmoni was nullified -- they arrived at the state of Adam Harishon before the sin -- but once again they didn't withstand the nisayon of waiting. They didn't wait for Moshe and sinned with the Egel, and therefore they didn't merit to the coming of Moshiach in their generation. Why is there a need for a nisayon of waiting in order to merit Moshiach? Withstanding a nisayon reveals a person's higher powers, and when a person waits for something he strengthens his emunah in that thing and reveals this level within himself. One who waits for the tzaddik, for Moshiach, and withstands the nisayon of his faith in him reveals the Moshiach within himself -- and he "transforms into Moshiach".

The guardian cherubim are the signs where the gate of Garden of Eden is(northern celestial pole ?). Adam neglect hashem's purpose ,dress and keep his home/not to pollute his planet ? I think Adam had only one soul, that's why fail to obey . . . He couldn't see moshiach in his time.

Also, can't forget Moses becoming impatient and striking his staff on the rock on his way to the Promised Land. G-d wasn't too fond of that, either.

I am a bit confused. It seems from this thread that waiting is generally the ideal with patience, but didn't the Lubavitcher Rebbe encourage us to want and even demand Mashiach? How do these two things fit together?
