korban hatamid for women

Does anyone know the answer on this question? Women were not supposed to give the half-shekel for korban hatamid. Yet, it atoned for things that were applicable to them too.

The answer that most people will think of ("fathers, brothers, husbands") obviously doesn't work for those women who don't have any.

Why don't you ask this on all קרבנות ציבור?
What does korbon tamid atone for?
[How would "fathers, brothers, husbands" help?].

What other karbon does the same thing (atone for women — but not men — without their participation)?

KT atones for going to Beis HaMikdosh in a state of tumah.

One might say that a woman's male relative's paying half-shekel counts for her as well. But that can't be true for a woman who doesn't have relatives. One can argue that all Jews are cousins, if you go far enough, but not a giyoret who is single.

All korbonos tzibbur - including, I assume, korbonos of Yom Kippur.

Rashi in Chumash says that is the role of korbonos mussaf (Pinchas 28:15). Where does this say concerning tomid (please forgive my ignorance)?

How does that work, exactly? Also, if women are not obligated in "half-shekel", why should that work (automatically)?

I think you should clarify, if you are asking a question בדרך ההלכה, or a question בדרך דרוש.
