Aliyah to the Torah

What are some sources in Chabad Chassidus that discuss what is happens b'ruchniyus when a Yid is called to the Torah.

Is being called to the Torah a result of an elevation above, or the cause of an elevation above?

Does it bring down koichos?

Thanks.

Wink

The Rebbe mentions in kama v'kama places the inyan that an aliyah to the torah is an aliyah of the neshamah...tachtiyim shniim ushlishim...
I can't remember offhand but look in mafteichos t"m tuf shin yud or yud alef and I think the Rebbe mentions it Simchas Torah tes zayin (you can check the tape )
