Chabad Chassidus not from the Rebbeim

Often we refer to Chabad Chassidus and contrast it with all other Chasidus, which we call Chagas, and by Chabad Chasidus people mean the Toiroh of the Rebbe'im. But in reality Chabad Chassidus could include Torah not directly from the Rebbeim, e.g., the Chasidus of Reb Hillel Paritcher or Reb Aizik of Homil, of Reb Aharon Strashelye or the Admorim (as the Rebbe referred to them) of Kapust.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of other sources of Chasidus that would also qualify as Chabad, but not from the Rebbeim. For example, does anyone know whether any of the other sons of the Tzemach vos hobn gefirt Admurus left behind any Chasidus?

We do not consider that of Reb Hillel or Reb Ayzik Divrei Elokim Chayim, although they are obviously legitimate Seforim.

Are you saying that it's not Chasidus at all, or just that it's a very different type of Chasidus from that of the Rebbeim? If the former, then I ask you how you would classify it. If the latter, then I have no problem.

The fact that the chassidus of chassidim is referred to as such in the sichos of the Rebe'im (" ") should settle the question as to how to classify it.

Spinoza? Mendelsohn?

Words of Chazal are classified as DA"CH already. Everything until the Acharonim and unitl the Shach and Taz (included), as stated in Hayom Yom, is written with Ruach Hakodesh. The question is afterwards, and in the context of Shechina Medabere mitoch Gerono.

Yoel Kahn's seforim are an excellent biur in Chasidus. I understand Chasidus Mevueres is as well. There are many biurim published in countless kovtzim in Chasidus (I refer to those by mashpiim, or edited by them). They are exactly that - biurim.

I don't understand the Spinoza Mendelsohn reference.

L'inyoneinu, however. In my Tomchei Temimim days we referred to the seder in chasidus as DAC"H and to nigleh as NIGLEH. The schedules of the sedorim were also posted the same way. I was always a little uncomfortable distinguishing between the two limudim by referring to one as DAC"H.

No need to be uncomfortable, we use Da"ch in the sense of Chasidus as common term, not as it being better or worse than something else.

Gevurah, sure, why not. We can print them with Yoel's Toros.
