BR is not a school for everyone. I am an in-towner and do not particularly love BR. Morristown sounds good, and so does Toronto. Detroit just re-opened this year, so I'd wait and see. Mrs. Turen's school is an excelent school. It is an intelectually stimulating school with a staff that is very devoted.

detroit was an awesome school before it shut down. the teachers cared about the girls and the principals were very good. they instilled in the students a sense of appreciation and closeness to the Rebbe. unfortunately it didnt last. and in answer to peoples questions about morristown. last year it had a very good year, this year a lot of girls are thinking of not coming back. if you didnt already know they were kicked out of their school building and relocated. but until they found a place to go school was canceled for about a week. as of now school is very hefker. its also not the best place for out of towners as there are not many extra curricular activities to fill your time with.

I'd vote for Toronto any day. Besides the fact that mitzad chassidishkeit every girl leaves a grown changed person, the Ahava yisroel level in this school is extremely high. Only in beis chomesh is everybody a somebody. anyways it dooes depend on the girl!!!!! ![]() Moshiach Noiw!

ditto to what ya'll say about TO, but trully, looking back, it all depends on the girl.. as to which place is best for her.

Of course, once you're iin one high school, you can't exactly say that you would've ben better off spending the year in another. You'll really never know for sure- which is the problem- you have to judge based on your experience, and not how you'll turn out, since different girls turn out differently in the same school, depending on their personalities.

i'm in toronto yeshivah, and don't have the greatest things to say about bais chomesh, and if it's the best it does not leave much room for the other highschools, sounds like the yeshivah sitch

even if the staff is good, the bochurim/bochurette's have their own agendas, the sitch does not look too pretty
