from my understanding, the shulchan aruch poskens that when people sit down to a meal together (like for shabbos) one person makes hamotzei and everyone says amen and its yotzei the brocho. i have been told and seen that it is chabad minhag that everyone makes their own brocha. I'm curious the reason for this, and if this causes a problem with being yotzei lechem mishna on shabbos
