Close Up What exactly is Ibbur?

Ibbur is mentioned in Tanya several times:

perek 14
Quote:
perhaps after all this effort of his, “a spirit [Ruach] from above will descend upon him,” and it will be granted him that the [soul-level of] Ruach, originating in the soul of some tzaddik, will be “impregnated” in him, so that he may serve G‑d with joy.
perek 16
Quote:
Note: The reason for this is that the vitality of this person's intellect and ncfesh, ruach and neshamah is derived from the so-called ibbur ("gestation") and concealment within the [Supernal] understanding, and not from the quality of birth and revelation— as it is known to those familiar with the Esoteric Discipline.
These seem to be two completely different concepts, the Ibbur in perek 14 being the neshoma of another tzaddik coming in a way of Ibbur to a person, and in perek 16 it is referring to the shoresh of the persons neshoma, whether he has hisgalus within his neshoma.

What is the relationship between these concepts? What exactly is Ibbur?

perek 14 is talking about עיבור of shaar hagilgulim.. as explained there in הקדמה ה' at length...

perek 16 is talking about the states of עיבור יניקה מוחין... i.e. הגדלת המוחין מקטנות לגדלות etc. in this case עיבור is קטנות of תלת גו תלת... i.e. שלש בתוך שלש כו.. i.e. ראשו בין ברכיו.. i.e. רק האהבה מסותרת במוחו ותעלומות לבו..

Thanks.

Are the two concepts related? Seemingly having the same name would imply yes.

What is the significance that עיבור is gematria רפ"ח?
