some inspiration:
A chasid persistently asked his Rebbe to tell him why the Messiah has not come and why the Redemption promised by the Prophets and Sages has not been fulfilled. The Rebbe answered: "It is written, 'Why has the son of Jesse (Yishai) not come, either today or yesterday?' The answer lies in the question itself: Why has he not come? Because we are today just as we were yesterday."

and some more:

A Tomim once went into yechidus and told the Rebbe that he felt he had no life. He asked the Rebbe to arouse mercy for him, so that he would have enthusiasm for his learning. The Rebbe replied, “There is always mercy for the students of Tomchei Tmimim. There is nothing more necessary than creating the vessels to receive it.”

you are neither crazy nor weird. you are normal. BUT- you are human, and you have a Y"H. i, for example- not only have a split personality- there are three of me!- but i hear voices in my head! is this normal? of course. the only thing is....that we can't rely on ourselves, we need to pull in someone else's koichois too.

sorry for taking this thread off topic...just this last time.

i don't know but i figure it's better to say it than not say it as apposed to saying it at the right time, right? also, don't some schools have chitas club b4 shacharis? do they say all chitas or just tanya?

So how are we s'posed to be different every day? whats something new?

they say chumash before davening
the rebbe wrote in a letter that if you have trouble concentrating then you should say some tehillim before davening
in another place it says that you should say the daily tehillim after davening
hayom yoom is good to say before davening, as it often has instructions on what to say that day.
tanya is also good to say before davening, and many ppl have a minhag to say it then
sefer hamitzvos before mincha, or after shacharis

could we compile a list of something like 'ways to bring moshiach' or s/thing...
so when u ask yourself 'what am i doing to bring moshiach?' u can look at the list & get some inspiration/ideas...?
would u like this or am i the only one that needs ideas?
i mean, i can think of plenty of things but i'm the type that likes to have everything written out...

and yet more:
Rabbi Avraham Shemtov relates:
“The day after the Rebbe’s first visit to Camp Gan Israel was parents’ visiting day. A ten-year-old boy, the son of a chareidi Rav who was not a Chabad chassid, was going out with his father. As I stood to one side of them, I overheard the son tell his father about the Rebbe’s visit. I listened to their conversation very carefully.

“The father asked his son, ‘And what did the Rebbe say to you?’ The son replied, ‘That Moshiach will come very soon.’ The father continued, ‘But what’s so new about that? Haven’t I always told you that we believe in and wait for him every day?’

“The boy answered, ‘Yes, but the Rebbe means it seriously.’”

I think so... but sometimes I get afraid that I won't be able to keep up with it all.
And somedays I don't get the inspiration I need. I feel like a burnt out bulb.

yes, i've found that when i davka don't want to do something i can be more aware of the fact that that's my Y"H, and specifically do that thing--it feels great. when i just usually 'forget' or whatever, it's almost harder to do b/c i don't have that great feeling of accomplishment like 'wow, i can do this'.
