Yud-Aleph Nissan

All yoma dpagra/chasidishe yomim tovim have special power and significance.
What is the specific avodah of yud-aleph nissan? what should we do on this day? our hachlotos should be in which areas?

Maybe this:

To be thrilled that Hashem gave us such a great leader. To think about ways to improve and do more what the Rebbe wants, so that we can bring Moshiach soon.

Learn the sichos and maamorim that the Rebbe gave on Yud Aleph Nissan in the past.

Clean for Pesach.

How to spend 11 Nissan: Learn a maamar. Correct chavrusa. Drive. Wish you were anywhere but where you were. Talk to other chassidim. Take a psychometric test, studying for it the night of 11 Nissan (that was last year's project). Have an interesting, slightly un-farbrengen farbrengen. Uh...let me think, I'll come up with other ideas. Oh- run shopping errands for Pesach. Yeah, that's a good one. Then write an article about your frustration with everything. Send article to be published.....

How such an important date has only a handful of comments yet arguement thread have hundreds is an eye opener for me.

Here is a fahbrangen televised from the Rebbe's 80th birthday.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYL4p...layer_embedded

What are the words of the yechi song they are singing? Anyone?

What are you planning to give the Rebbe as a gift? Spiritual and Physical to bring honor to him and all he did for the Jewish people.

Its Friday so I hope at minimum that there is a fahbrangen where you are.

Gut Voch.

We don't even hear the Rebbe's voice in that video...and we can barely see him.

You must be the type of person who likes to hear themselves talk.

As much as I am the type of person who likes to talk about people liking to hear themselves talk.

I didnt know that the full fabrangen video existed at the time I posted the initial comment.

Thanks for contributing.

I don't know why you're saying such thing and if I should take it positively or not, but being a very shy and introverted person, I'm not someone who is used to speak too much.

I don't see the connection between your (negative ?) remark and the fact that the Rebbe's voice was not heard in the video you posted. it was not sarcastic at all...

You shouldn't take it positively.

I apologize for being to cryptic. What I was trying to say is that in a conversation, you are the type of person that will talk just to talk without bringing anything positive or constructive to the table. I am the type of person that would let a person know that they are doing that to the face.

Instead of your response you should have provided the link to the full fabrangen but instead of taking the time to find it you send your initial reply which brings us back to my initial statement.

Thank you. Very great!

BTW, the 80's look very nice and Rabbi Friedman שליט"א is unrecognizable.

I still cannot see what I said wrong, but apparently it didn't please you and you tale it too personnal. I'm sorry for having created such displeasure but take it easy.

Don't judge with your eyes. That this thread has only a handful of comments means nothing as to our hiskashrus to the Rebbe. You're almost insinuating that we no longer care for our Rebbe?!

Moreover, the question was

The question was not about the essence or the signfiicance of the day (we can write a lot about that) but about what to do on that day, and it has been answered. If you have something else to add concernon the avodah of the day, share it with us, you seem tio have very interesting and deep thoughts to contribute.
