Tzitzis

They asked me why Lubavitch wears different knots on the tzitzis, what's the deal, and so I said it's very deep kabbalah inyanim but honestly I HAVE NO IDEA! Can anyone explain??

Why didn't you just say, "I'm sorry that I cannot answer your question as I do not know the answer to it myself. However, I am interested to find out the answer and when I do I will get back to you. Thanks for asking?"

There is nothing wrong with not knowing everything. . . .

I know: All Lubavitch minhogim are really deep kabbala inyonimn
I don't know: what those inyonim are!

The Magon Avrohom brings it in the name of , which refers to Kisvei Arizal (in this case, beginning of ).
Whether that translates into the "deep kabalah inyonim" mentioned by the original poster - , as it could be for a zecher to tcheiles, as mentioned by the AR 11:31.

Yeah, the way Chabad ties tzitzis has everything to do with the way the Alter Rebbe interpreted the Arizal's writings, not technically the way the Arizal tied his tzitzis
