are religous jewish communities insular to protect the jewish values

I think it is fair to say that Jewish communities have very strong values on things like education and family values as well as a particular way of life which means that they can be insular This is talking hypothetically but if they were less insular and in a way were more open to outsiders is it possible that the values would be weaker and they could lose some of their identity and strong values. This is my opinion but it seems that Jewish communities are insular to protect the values and the rules of Judaism in a way regulate and in a way restrict what you can and cannot do

i dont know if it is fair to say this but if religous jews integrated more with gentiles and less religous people, would that expose them to behaviour and values that they would be uncomfortable with as well as potentially behaviour and ideas that they would be uncomfortable with
