Baruch She-amar

I heard Midrash that Baruch She-amar floated down from Heaven when the Anshei Knessess Hagdolah were writing the Siddur. Did anyone else hear it, know the source, have more details on it, or know where I can get more info in Psukei D`zimra in general?

I heard taht it was more like they were walking and it fluttered in the wind-they didn't see it actually coming from Shamayim. Perhaps R' Hirsch's Siddur has what you're looking for?

There are plenty of sources. Do you want English only?

My Prayer - a kehos book....

get an Artscroll Siddur..they have a running commentary..

you can get a tape from rabbi Wein...

Far more in Hebrew.... There is an old book in English from someone named Jacobson....not from Chabad...

See Alter Rebbe's Shulchan Aruch 51:2, who got it from Taz 51:1; the Ba'er Hetev attributes it to "Tur, besheim Heichalos".

from Tolas Yaakov - Sod Psukei D`zimra (quoting from elsewhere)
FROM Meir ibn Gabbai...the first guy who asked if G-d can make a rock that He cannot lift....

Thanks! I didn't really understand the end of it though. Is it explaining the significance of there being 87 words?
