Action versus Study

The Gemara discusses the question as to which is greater, Torah study or action, and concludes that bizman ha'zeh (nowadays) "talmud gadol" - study is greater, but l'asid lavo (in the future) "maaseh gadol" (action is greater).

Question: if the occupation of everyone will be to lo'daas es Hashem" (to know G-d), how is this action? It sounds like our physical needs will be taken care of (it will be plentiful like dust, and goyim will serve us) and we will sit and learn, "talmud"?

My vote is action(Gen. 18:19 & 22:1-19; Lev. 19:9-18; Deut. 12:28; Zech. 8:16-23).

Shalom

What is our Maaseh (action) now, in this context? I would not think that it means our physical needs.

Perhaps we will "know Hashem" with the emphasis on Mitzvos, connecting to Hashem?

Some where in the Tenach it says "they will no longer teach every man his neighbor.., but that haShem will put His Torah in their hearts." This scripture seems to indicate "action" is the final destination. The written Torah is a guide for the flesh as well as the spirit that our "action" might be pleasing to G-d and man. But, when one thirst for Torah and it's constant study, they become like a child who wishes to hear their Father''s voice all the time. I don't know if we can say with any certainty which is more beneficial.
