Elul: Fixing everything in the previous year

Just a reminder that

1) During the days of Elul one can repair everything lacking in those days of each previous month of the year.

2) During the last 12 days of Elul (from Chai Elul) one can repair everything lacking in the previous 12 months of the year.

Ksiva v'chasima tova l'shana tova u-mesuka (b'tov hanira v'haniglah!)

The one problem is that since I haven't been very religious about keeping a record of my aveirot, it's kind of hard to remember everything I did.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes. But I tend to focus on the really memorable stuff and the aveiros I just keep repeating. That keeps me busy enough unfortunately.

True. But OTOH, sometimes you have to switch aveirot, if you see that the first approach isn't working. No?

To play it safe then why not do what I do and admit that ur neshama didn't fulfill it's potential this year. And plead Dear G-D with your help I will be a little if not more better, the following year. Remember too one good deed u do 2day that u did not do yesterday never hurt a soul
