LeShem Yichud: before Baruch Shi'Amar

I know R. Yaakov Emden and other major g'dolim were against saying an actual shem in a kaavana, but I remember hearing the minhag both ways for 'shem yud-kai b'vav-kai of baruch sheamar in p'sukai d'zimra - i.e., do we really say the hai or not? It doesn't seem pashut - the bais between these two makes them different from shem havaya.
