In the drushei Chassidus, Ohel and Chupah are related.
"Shemesh sam ohel bahem and hu k'choson hayotzei michupaso".

Ohel is makif, sovev. When it is drawn down into Malchus it is called Chupah.

First the choson and kallah are under the Chupah, then they go out from the chupah.

It also says in Bava Basra that l'asid every tzaddik will be singed by the Chupah of his neighbor.

I think we will need an Ohel/Chupah l'asid, at least initially, for the chasseneh of HKBH and the Yidden. After that, we can all leave together
